How to Mint a Token on the Lumoscore Launchpad

Creating your own digital asset has never been easier, thanks to platforms like Lumoscore. This guide will walk you through the simple, no-code process of minting a fungible token on the Lumoscore Launchpad, which is powered by the Stellar network.

Step 1: Sign Up and Select Your Network

First, you'll need to sign up for an account on the Lumoscore website. Once you're in, you will be prompted to select a network. Currently, only the Stellar network is available, but future support for XRP and other networks are planned.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

After selecting your network, you need to connect a compatible wallet. Lumoscore supports several options for the Stellar network, including Albedo, Rabet, xBull, HOT Wallet, Wallet Connect, Freighter, LOBSTR, Hana Wallet, and Klever Wallet. You'll need a small amount of XLM (Stellar Lumens) in your wallet to cover the nominal transaction fees. These fees are a fraction of a cent and are required for any operation on the Stellar network.

Step 3: Access the Token Launchpad

Navigate to the Lumoscore website's home page and select the "Launchpad" section. From there, choose "Launch Token" to access the token creation form.

Step 4: Define Your Token's Details and Costs

This is the most important step where you define the characteristics of your token. The user-friendly interface is divided into three main sections: General Info, Social Info, and Supply Info.

General Info

This section covers the foundational details of your token.

  • Token Name: This is the full, descriptive name of your asset, such as "Community Coin" or "Global Token." It's what people will see when they view your token in their wallet or on an exchange.
  • Token Symbol (Ticker): This is the unique, short ticker symbol for your token, similar to a stock ticker. It must be between 4-12 characters long and is used for quick identification (e.g., "$CMTY," "$GLB").
  • Decimals: This value determines how divisible your token is. For example, if you set the decimals to 7, the smallest unit of your token is . This is important for transactions involving small amounts.

Social Info

This section is for building community and providing your token's official links. You can add links to your project's Telegram channel, X (Twitter) profile, and a dedicated Website.

Supply Info

This is where you set the total number of tokens that will ever exist.

  • Total Supply: You'll enter the maximum number of tokens you want to create. This can be a fixed amount, or you can make it flexible if you choose to enable a minting feature in the future.
  • Your Share: This is the percentage or specific amount of the total supply you want to keep for yourself. You can adjust a slider to determine the allocation you will receive upon launch.

The total cost to create a token on Lumoscore is $25. This total is divided as follows:

  • Token Creation: $5
  • Initial Liquidity: $10
  • Liquidity Pool and Network Costs: $10

Step 5: Final Review and Minting

After you've configured all the details, Lumoscore will present a summary of your token's properties. Review the information carefully. When you are ready, click "Create Token" or "Deploy."

Your wallet will then prompt you to sign and approve the transaction. Once you do, the Lumoscore Launchpad will mint your token and deploy it to the Stellar network. The process is almost instant, and the network fees are minimal.

Congratulations, you have successfully minted a token on the Lumoscore Launchpad!
